Basica by Fabricio Alves is a free modern display font with tall, narrow lettering and a crisp geometric build. Rounded outer corners soften the rigid vertical strokes, and several joins turn at sharp right angles. The compact spacing gives a continuous, sign-like silhouette.
It can bring a streamlined electronic character to game interfaces and technology branding, yet its narrow proportions also suit fashion posters and magazine covers. The lettering feels precise but not corporate. Across these uses, its repeated arches and upright strokes supply the same controlled, retro-futurist thread.
