Baskervald ADF Std Italic by Harendal Hirwen of Arkandis Digital Foundry is a free high-contrast italic serif with a crisp, classical profile. Narrow capitals, sharply cut serifs, and long curling lowercase strokes give the lettering a formal yet lively slant.
