Author's note

BAWetPaint-1980 by S. Bradley Askew is a free eroded caps display font with the dragged, uneven finish of hastily applied paint. Broad letter shapes are split by long streaks and rough gaps, with sharply changing stroke widths. The result feels raw and immediate.

That scraped texture suits punk posters and album packaging, but it also gives streetwear branding an abrasive handmade edge. The recurring streaks and broken marks can become part of gritty music artwork rather than ordinary lettering.
