BDP GeLLY by Álvaro Thomáz of 8own is a free high-contrast sans serif with an elegant, fashion-minded profile. Tall letters mix hairline diagonals and curves with much heavier upright strokes. The lettering feels crisp and unusually airy.
Editorial design is an especially good setting for its dramatic changes in weight, whether on magazine covers, fashion features, or cultural programs. It is most convincing in display typography that lets its sweeping curves and slender details become the main visual feature.
