Bean Pole XL by DJBFontography is a free tall handwritten font with an exceptionally lean, upright silhouette. Its thin strokes shift gently in width, and the long letters have the easy irregularity of lettering drawn with a fine marker. Rounded turns soften the otherwise spare forms.
It is especially convincing on posters, where the towering proportions can make a title feel informal and lightly quirky. The same slender drawing suits cafe packaging and music merchandise with a homespun edge. Its friendly, unpolished lettering also speaks to younger audiences in children's publishing.
