Author's note

Beauregard is a free ornamental display font with a theatrical, old-fashioned air. Broad, dark letters are cut through with pale curls and teardrop-shaped openings. Fine vine-like flourishes spill from the edges, making the lettering look hand-carved and slightly unruly.

Its lavish decoration suits vintage confectionery packaging and fantasy posters, as well as theatrical programs and eccentric event invitations. It speaks to audiences drawn to Victorian curiosities and storybook spectacle.
