Author's note

Bedrock Light font is a free decorative cartoon typeface with a jagged, hand-chiseled look that feels straight out of a stone-age title card. Chunky, uneven strokes and angular cuts give each letter a rough, carved-from-rock texture, while the tight spacing keeps words reading as bold, punchy blocks. Part of the Bedrock family, it has a playful prehistoric vibe that still stays legible at medium sizes.

Using Bedrock Light in your layouts instantly suggests caveman comedy, adventure, and comic-style fun, so it shines on kids’ book covers, party invitations, theme-park signage, YouTube thumbnails, board-game boxes, and retro TV parody logos. This free font works especially well when you set it large and pair it with a simple sans serif for body copy, letting its quirky “stone” letters do all the shouting.
