Author's note

Bellamy's Mapbats by Erwin Denissen of High-Logic is a free map-symbol dingbat font whose pictograms resemble rough paper cutouts. Uneven edges and simple interior gaps keep its landmarks lively and handmade.

Outdoor groups and young explorers are the clearest audience for its friendly storybook approach to cartography. It could shape trail maps, campsite signage, and activity-book pages into illustrated scenes built from tents, water, and unusual landmarks. For travel games and nature-event branding, the symbols can become recurring emblems for destinations and activities.
