Bellota, created by Kemie Guaida and based on Gesine Todt's Snippet, is a free retro display font with slim, gently modulated strokes and a relaxed upright stance. Its tall, open letters mix rounded arches with unexpected hooks and tapered curls, a recurring detail that makes the design feel both elegant and knowingly odd.
A boutique cafe identity is an especially convincing use, since those curling shapes bring a crafted note to menus, food packaging, and window signs. Posters can tap its Art Nouveau and mid-century illustration echoes.
