Author's note

Belshaw Donut Robot is a free monospaced sans serif with a soft retro-tech mood. The letters pair even, typewriter-like spacing with rounded curves and plain vertical strokes, so the font feels calm and slightly robotic rather than cold.

It fits naturally in interface mockups, coding-themed posters, zines, sleeve notes, and small brand systems that want a measured, machine-age voice. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, title cards, and labels, where that fixed rhythm gives a neat grid feel without turning stiff.
