Author's note

Beowulf Runic by David Kerkhoff is a free runic display font with a rough, carved appearance. Angular symbols vary sharply in width and height. Speckled interiors and uneven contours suggest weathered markings cut into wood or stone.

Fantasy and historical entertainment audiences will recognize its archaic character in game graphics, film titles, and themed merchandise. In publishing, it can turn chapter headings or cover lettering into part of a saga-inspired setting.

This runic script is the “Old Anglo-Saxon” runic script.
