Author's note

Berlin Email 2, by Peter Wiegel, is a free condensed sans serif with the lean, upright presence of modernist signage. Released in 2009, its narrow letters combine tall verticals with softly rounded curves, while tight spacing gives words a clipped, efficient rhythm.

This free font fits email-inspired identities, editorial mastheads, technology posters, event flyers, and packaging that needs a spare utilitarian voice. It works especially well for short headlines, where the compressed shapes can build a strong block without feeling heavy.
