Author's note

Berserker by Daniel Zadorozny of Iconian Fonts is a free eroded display font with hefty, uneven capitals and a mischievous hand-drawn edge. Ragged outlines and scattered cutouts break through the broad strokes, making the letters resemble roughly painted signs or inked comic lettering. Curved forms buckle and lean slightly with a restless bounce.

Cartoon monsters and scratchy illustrations can echo the same chipped shapes, suiting game graphics, music merchandise, and youth packaging. In publishing, its blunt silhouettes and odd internal marks suit comic covers and humor magazines, where lettering can become part of the illustration rather than a neutral caption.
