Bext! by Frolov Alexey of MRFrukta is a free distorted display font built from massive, irregular letterforms. Broad slabs, pinched joins, and flared edges give the letters a warped silhouette.
Poster design is its clearest setting, since the uneven silhouettes turn a title into a substantial graphic shape. The same warped construction suits album covers, streetwear merchandise, and club event graphics with an unruly, offbeat attitude. Its swollen curves and blunt projections are particularly convincing for psychedelic music and deliberately strange underground entertainment.
