Author's note

Bifur Foundation by A. M. Cassandre of Deberny & Peignot is a free Art Deco display font built from monumental geometric capitals and sweeping curves. Broad forms are interrupted by crisp horizontal openings, and the rounded letters meet knife-sharp diagonals for a clean, striking machine-age silhouette.

Those open bands can echo the lines of geometric illustration or modernist architecture, making the lettering useful for exhibition posters and editorial covers. Its solid shapes also suit fashion packaging and music artwork with a sleek, theatrical edge. The font is at its best when a title can function almost like a custom emblem.
