Author's note

Binary Soldiers, created by Maciej Chodakowski, is a free arcade-game dingbat font filled with rows of squat, pixelated invader figures. The creatures vary in headgear, antennae, eyes, and broad mechanical bodies, yet share the blunt silhouettes of early coin-op enemies.

It can turn a game title or event poster into a miniature formation of screen-ready troops. The symbols also suit retro merchandise and digital graphics. Their changing faces and equipment make them especially useful for projects built around arcade battles, alien armies, and 1980s game culture.
