Author's note

Bipolar Braden by Sarah Braden is a free trash font with a twitchy, hand-damaged look that feels scraped together from ink blots, wiry loops, and torn edges. The letters wobble between bulbous and skeletal forms, with ragged outlines and odd little breaks that make the whole design feel nervous, messy, and deliberately unstable.

That makes it a natural fit for zines, punk flyers, haunted poster titles, indie cover lines, and rough collage packaging where a cleaner font would feel too controlled. Used as a free font for short headlines, title cards, or one-word marks, it works because every letter carries the same jittery, off-kilter tension.
