Author's note

Birds A by Steven J. Lundeen of Emerald City Fontwerks is a free bird dingbat font in a natural-history illustration style. Fine hatching describes feathers, beaks, eyes, and talons.

Wildlife posters are an obvious home for these detailed symbols, and nature publishing, museum materials, and outdoor event graphics offer equally fitting contexts. Each bird can act as a spot illustration or emblem, helping conservation groups and heritage products build an identity around recognizable avian forms.
