BirdsNFishes by M Klein is a free animal dingbat font filled with whimsical hybrids of birds and fish. Wiry outlines meet broad shapes, sharp fins, spindly legs, and oversized eyes.
It is especially suited to children's publishing, where the odd creatures can enliven story pages and activity sheets, and it also fits playful game graphics. On posters and merchandise, the symbols can become illustrated mascots or small scene-building elements instead of serving as ordinary text.
