Author's note

Bit Chips by Darrell Flood is a free rectilinear techno display font. Its tall, squared letters use continuous right-angle turns, open joints, and sharp cut-ins, producing a stark silhouette that recalls early computer terminals and maze-like circuitry.

Retro-futurist graphics are the strongest setting for it, especially arcade posters, electronic music artwork, and game title screens that benefit from its rigid, encoded appearance. On technology packaging or event signage, the lettering can become part of the graphic system itself, behaving like a circuit diagram or control-panel readout rather than serving only as a label, with its angular paths echoed in borders, icons, and interface panels.
