Author's note

Blagovest 4, by Dupli Aleks Tim with conversion by Nikola Kovanovic, is a free Cyrillic display font with a distinctly liturgical, manuscript-bred mood. The letters pair heavy vertical mass with sharp, tapering curves and teardrop-shaped openings, giving the font a solemn, ornamental rhythm that feels tied to Orthodox book culture rather than modern poster lettering.

It suits church bulletins, heritage branding, festival posters, book covers, and title cards where a historical Slavic voice matters more than neutrality. As a free font, it also makes sense for initials, monograms, and short headings, because those dramatic inner curves and tall dark forms carry the most weight in brief, ceremonial settings.
