Blocbloc by rikk of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free ultra-heavy modular display font built from square, tightly packed forms. Its letters read as dense blocks, with small rectangular cuts supplying the internal structure. The rigid grid construction gives the design a blunt, low-resolution industrial look.
Posters are its strongest setting, especially for electronic music, games, or experimental events that benefit from lettering resembling a digital wall or bank of tiles. The same compact geometry can shape packaging labels and merchandise graphics, linking these uses through an unmistakable system of repeated blocks.
