Author's note

Block IMB by valefife of FontStruct is a free segmented pixel font built from horizontal bars and square blocks. Repeated gaps divide the letters into striped, machine-like forms with the look of an early electronic readout.

Technology and arcade themes suit game graphics, music posters, and science-fiction packaging. The skeletal strokes also fit interface labels, echoing status lights and scan lines. In title cards, the broken bars can become part of a fictional control-panel display instead of ordinary text.
