Author's note

Blox by Chris Coombes of FontStruct is a free pixel font with a wiry, low-resolution profile. Its letters are unusually open and loosely spaced, with slim strokes and abrupt changes in height. Several forms have clipped joins or dangling details.

Retro computing is the clearest reference, making Blox a natural fit for indie game interfaces and electronic-music posters. It can also lend a homemade digital edge to event flyers and merchandise. Across these uses, the uneven silhouettes recall early screen lettering without copying the heavier arcade styles designers expect.
