Author's note

Bold Stripe, designed by Andrew Lockhart of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free fragmented techno display font with an industrial edge. Tall, narrow letters are assembled from hard vertical bars and clipped geometric pieces. The broken strokes create a coded, machine-cut appearance.

Digital graphics make good use of its segmented construction, especially for game interfaces and electronic music artwork. It is also suited to science-fiction posters and futuristic event branding, though title treatments are its most convincing role.
