Author's note

BonFood, created by Manfred Klein, is a free food-themed dingbat font built from lively line drawings. Its cast of chefs, diners, table settings, and desserts has the loose, slightly exaggerated look of vintage newspaper cartoons.

Restaurants and caterers can use these scenes for menus, signage, and promotional graphics. The hand-drawn figures also suit cookbooks, especially sections that benefit from a humorous editorial spot. Each symbol is a complete miniature scene, so it can function as illustration rather than ordinary lettering.
