Boom Bold by Andrew Footit of Virtue Creative Instinct is a free groovy cartoon display font with an oversized silhouette. Its dense rounded letters swell outward in uneven widths, with deep pinches and soft notches breaking up the mass. The shapes feel inflated and cheerfully unruly.
Posters are its strongest setting, especially for comedy nights or music events that can use lettering as a central graphic shape. On snack packaging and playful merchandise, the bulbous forms can echo mascots, stickers, and rounded illustration styles. Its upbeat, exaggerated construction is best suited to youthful brands and audiences drawn to 1970s-inspired pop graphics.
