Author's note

BosporosU, from the American Philological Association, is a free classical serif font with a calm, literary tone. The letters show strong contrast, crisp hairlines, and softly cupped serifs that give the font a patrician, bookish rhythm without feeling stiff.

It fits naturally in editorial mastheads, museum materials, scholarly titles, book covers, and cultural event posters, where that classical flavor can do more of the talking than ornament. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, chapter openers, and restrained wordmarks, especially when you want something that suggests antiquity and seriousness but still feels graceful on the page.
