Author's note

BP dots Unicase Bold by George Triantafyllakos is a free dot-matrix display font built from large, evenly rounded discs rather than continuous strokes. Its modular letters recall early electronic signs and scoreboard displays, but the open gaps and circular units give the forms a soft, almost toy-like finish.

Arcade game graphics and technology event posters can both use its unmistakable row-of-lights construction, linking retro electronics with cheerful contemporary illustration rather than neutral geometric lettering. It also suits music merchandise and children's packaging. Across those settings, the repeated dots point clearly to pixels, bulbs, scoreboards, and the visual culture of classic video games.
