Author's note

BP Imperial, designed by George Triantafyllakos, is a free condensed display sans serif with an imposing, engineered silhouette. Its very tall, heavy letters are built from straight vertical strokes, tight internal openings, and subtly softened corners. The forms have the compact force of lettering cut for machinery or industrial signage.

That dense construction can shift convincingly between sports merchandise and electronic music graphics, bringing the same hard-edged impact to two different settings. It also suits nightclub posters and action-game interfaces, since all four uses benefit from lettering that resembles a stamped plate or machine marking.
