Author's note

BPmono by George Triantafyllakos is a free monospaced sans serif with clean, nearly uniform strokes and an understated technical manner. Its broad capitals and compact lowercase forms share simple curves, open joins, and firmly squared endings. The regular widths produce an orderly line without making the letters look mechanical or severe.

Its typewriter and terminal associations make it especially convincing for software branding and technology publishing. The restrained drawing also suits data graphics and exhibition signage, where the letterforms can support structured information with a quieter voice. Against grids, diagrams, and schematic illustration, the repeated widths become part of the measured graphic pattern rather than mere labeling.
