Author's note

BP Typewrite Damaged Slashed by George Triantafyllakos is a free experimental display font built from rough, narrow letterforms crossed by forceful diagonal strokes. The uneven lines bend and overlap like hurried marker writing, with open loops and abrupt joints keeping the forms raw rather than typographic. Every letter looks deliberately struck through.

Designers working in underground music, skate culture, or abrasive streetwear can use it for gig posters, album artwork, and merchandise that benefits from a vandalized, handmade edge. The repeated slashes link those settings through a shared sense of defacement, turning the lettering into part of the graphic image rather than a neutral caption.
