Author's note

BP Typewrite Slashed Italic, designed by George Triantafyllakos, is a free hand-drawn display font with sharply tilted forms. Long diagonal strokes cut through the letters, forming a scratched, restless silhouette. The linework is rough and wiry.

Its punk-print character suits music posters, album artwork, and independent magazine covers. The slashed letters can become part of a distressed logo, like hurried marker corrections. It is especially convincing for noise music, DIY culture, and abrasive comic art.
