Author's note

Brands Kidnapped by Jos Elsendoorn is a free ransom-note display font with the rough, pasted-up attitude of punk flyers and tabloid cutouts. The letters look scavenged from mismatched sources, with battered edges, uneven frames, and jumpy sizing that make the whole font feel deliberately stolen, loud, and a little chaotic.

It fits posters, zine covers, band merch, mixtape graphics, title cards, and rebellious branding where a free font should feel improvised rather than neat. Because the letters already carry that clipped-and-collaged tension, it works best in short blasts such as cover lines, headers, and names that need a scrappy, confrontational voice.
