Brava, made in 2010 by Mr. Frukta, is a free playful serif display font with broad, weighty letters and blunt slab-like details. Its uneven proportions, tilted joins, and lively changes in width give the lettering the rough humor of hand-cut poster type, with pointed feet kicking outward at unexpected angles.
Food, comedy, and informal entertainment are especially convincing subjects for this oversized, slightly unruly style. The letters feel almost illustrated on festival posters and children's book covers.
