Brecht Font

Brecht by Daniel Leal Werneck is a free blocky display font with a raw, cut-paper feel. The letters look built from chunky right angles and sudden notches, giving the whole font a rough modernist rhythm that feels closer to poster lettering than polished signage.

That makes this free font easy to picture on zines, gig posters, cover lines, title cards, and compact branding where a hard-edged, handmade voice helps set the tone. It works best in short bursts, because the jagged joins and squat shapes give even simple words a tense, urban texture.
