Author's note

Brighton Sans NBP, created by Nate Halley, is a free retro display sans with extremely tall, narrow letters and a machine-age silhouette. Its rounded shoulders and blunt cuts feel streamlined and slightly eccentric.

A record label or nightlife brand could use its compressed forms to strongly evoke vintage posters without copying a specific period. The same upright profile suits festival graphics, album packaging, and fashion merchandise, giving each a crisp architectural edge. Against geometric illustration or repeating stripe patterns, the lettering can become part of the image rather than a separate caption.
