Author's note

Briscoe Chronicle is a free eroded display font built from massive, tightly packed capitals with blunt squared shapes. Repeated horizontal scars make every letter look scraped and weather-beaten.

Its damaged texture can echo torn photography and rough screen-printed artwork on music posters, album packaging, and streetwear merchandise, becoming part of the surrounding abrasion rather than a clean label. The same battered surfaces also fit action-game graphics and sports event branding, especially for themes of impact, conflict, and industrial settings.
