Author's note

Britannian Runes by Norwick is a free runes dingbat font with a stark, carved look rooted in old Northern letterforms. The letters lean on sharp diagonals, split strokes, and wedge-like cuts that make the set feel hewn from wood or stone rather than drawn with a pen.

That makes it a natural fit for fantasy book covers, game logos, pagan or folk music artwork, event posters, and atmospheric title cards where you want a ritual, archaic tone. As a free font, it also suits short branding moments like monograms, chapter openers, or drop-cap style initials, because the angular forms carry so much mood in just a few characters.
