Author's note

Broken Poster by The Fontry is a free distorted display font built from broad, uneven capitals with low, spreading silhouettes, rough cutout openings, and hand-cut placard shapes. The letters lean, jolt, and break into sharp notches.

Street-art graphics are its natural territory, especially gig posters and album covers tied to underground punk, garage, or skate culture. The hacked-out forms can also turn merchandise and local event signage into rough improvised emblems for younger alternative audiences, echoing torn paper and handmade poster art.
