Author's note

Brushingtons by Max Infeld of Xerographer.com is a free brush script whose broad, sharply tapered strokes create a restless silhouette of blunt curves, sudden points, and irregular edges. Changing widths keep every letter raw and lively.

Packaging gives this lettering a forceful voice on hot sauces and craft drinks, and its rough movement also suits concert posters and skate merchandise. In editorial illustration, the pointed forms can echo flames, torn paper, or energetic character art, allowing a masthead to become part of the picture instead of functioning as a neutral caption.
