Author's note

BTD BeezWax font by Michael Brittain of Bigtoedesigns is a free eroded display typeface that looks like it’s been left out in the sun to sag and melt. The letters are fat, inky blobs with wobbly outlines and little bites taken out of them, giving every word a gooey, handmade vibe. It feels half-grungy, half-cartoon, like messy brushstrokes pressed into soft wax.

Using btd BeezWax, your titles instantly pick up a playful, slightly spooky edge that stands out on posters, Halloween invites, zines, band art, game logos, and quirky packaging. This free font works best big, where its lumpy curves and rough texture can breathe; pair it with a very plain sans serif for body copy so the wildness stays where it belongs-in your headlines.
