Bug2K Oblique font by Meir Sadan is a free futuristic outlined typeface with a chunky, fast-moving silhouette. Its thick black border and hollow interior give every word a lit-up, arcade-era feel, while the rounded corners keep it playful instead of cold. The slanted stance adds motion right away, so even short headlines feel loud, glossy, and full of momentum.
Using Bug2K Oblique works beautifully for gaming logos, Y2K posters, sci-fi titles, tech event flyers, sticker graphics, stream banners, and nostalgic merch. This free font shines at larger sizes where the outline can breathe; pair it with a simple sans-serif for body copy so the headline keeps all the attention.
This is basically an English version of the "Dlila Hollow" Hebrew font. I made an English version of it specially for the contest, because I thought it's very appropriate to portray the Y2K controversy, and the mysterious Y2K *bug*.
