Butterfly by CMunk of FontStruct is a free groovy display font built from dense, rounded strokes. The lettering has a low, broad silhouette, with bulbous curves, blunt joins, and tall uprights that rise like tabs above the softer forms.
Its clear 1970s character makes it a lively fit for record sleeves and music posters. The same chunky geometry can shape snack packaging or playful clothing graphics. Those repeated arches and pill-like forms can echo the shapes in retro illustration.
