Author's note

Byzantine is a free hand-drawn caps display font with an eccentric silhouette. Its uneven strokes shift from blunt, weighty sections to thin angled joins, so the letters look assembled by hand. Rounded ends and sudden bends keep the forms lively rather than carefully geometric.

It can turn a title into part of an illustrated scene, especially in children's publishing or fantasy game graphics. Festival posters and playful merchandise also suit the loose construction, which recalls handmade signs and quick marker sketches. Across these uses, the irregular angles and changing stroke widths connect the lettering to drawing rather than formal typography.
