Calissa Words by Aga Silva is a free decorative word-and-phrase symbol font made from ornate ready-made inscriptions rather than a conventional alphabet. Fine hairlines sweep into broad shaded strokes across the set, and long looping flourishes give each design the manner of formal copperplate penmanship with a warm, personal finish.
Wedding invitations are its clearest setting, with restaurant menus, boutique packaging, and event stationery also benefiting from the graceful, celebratory drawing and its old-fashioned sense of ceremony. The extended swashes can double as ornamental linework among floral illustrations and delicate border motifs.
