Author's note

Camelia, designed by Masato Shimojima, is a free heavy italic display font with broad, rounded forms and a forceful forward slant. The letters pack closely together, forming a dense silhouette punctuated by small enclosed spaces and sharply cut stroke endings. Its curves feel both soft and muscular.

That mix suits sports branding and racing posters, yet it can also lend fashion packaging and music graphics a sleek, assertive edge. The streamlined bulk has a clear connection to speed-minded entertainment, especially motorsport and action themes.
