Author's note

Canadian Penguin by Chris Cavaghan is a free handwritten font with tall, loosely drawn letters and noticeably shifting stroke widths. Its irregular joins, open shapes, and occasional sharp turns give the writing the quick pace of marker lettering.

The wiry lines can echo simple illustrations and doodles, making the font useful for children's book covers, comic panels, and informal event posters. Its approachable unevenness also suits youth groups and community workshops looking for lettering that feels personally made.
