Author's note

Canard is a free eroded display font with towering, tightly drawn letters and a battered printed surface. Scattered chips and scratches roughen its deep curves and blunt forms.

Music posters are its strongest setting because the compressed silhouette and worn ink texture match punk, garage rock, and other rough-edged scenes, and those same qualities suit album covers and band merchandise. Independent bars and streetwear labels could also use it across small-run drink packaging and local venue signage, turning the distressed lettering into a recognizable stamp for a deliberately rough product identity.
