Candal by Vernon Adams is a free heavy sans serif with broad, tightly fitted letters and a blunt, poster-like silhouette. Subtle asymmetries in the curves and changing stroke widths keep the dense forms from feeling mechanical, especially around the rounded lowercase letters.
